Course Descriptions & Rates

At Redemptive Yoga we strive to provide the highest level of support, attention and care to each student's practice. To accomplish this, our studio runs on skills-based, six-week courses. Throughout each six-week period, we work together to build strength, flexibility and comfort in our poses. Students may also opt for drop-in classes, book semi-private or private yoga appointments.

Redemptive Yoga Has Updated Course offerings, beginning Monday Jan. 9th through Friday Feb. 17th (6 weeks).
 
Level One - *Beginning*
          Tuesdays 8:45am- Skill Based Series
          Tuesday 6:45pm - Skill Based Series
          Thursdays 4:45pm - Gentle Hatha Practice
 
Level Two - *Beginning-Intermediate*
           Mondays 8:45am- Skill Based Series
           Tuesdays 4:45pm - Skill Based Series
           Friday 8:45 am- Practice *less focus on teaching
           
Level Three- Intermediate
           Thursdays 7:45am- Yoga for Athletes
           
           * Time or class not available?  Round up 2 or more other yoginies and create your own class.  All class times must have 3 committed students to continue.  Contact Instructor Natalie Marquez at 966-1983 to sign up, or for more details.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Yoga Instruction

Beginners Level - 1 - 6 Week Introduction to basic Hatha style yoga, breathing, and Biblical Meditation with focus on core strength, flexibility and relaxation. This is a great option for those new to yoga, or who would like a slower paced practice. Class Length is 75 minutes.

Beginners/Intermediate - Level 2
- 6 Week Continuation of Beginning Raja-Hatha style yoga with increased movement, balance, strength, and flexibility. Included are new standing poses, twists, inversions, and breathe work. Biblical Meditation time increases. Classes remain 75 min. in length.

Intermediate Level - 3
- Placement upon Instructor recommendation or graduation from Beginners Second Half. 6 weeks at Intermediate level one/two. At this level is it expected that the student has been regularly practicing yoga 2-3 times a week and has developed enough skill to maintain integrity of poses for extended periods of time; including bends, twists, challenge poses and inversions such as shoulder and head stands. The Sanskrit names will often be employed, meditation time is at least 15 min, and practice will flow at a quicker pace with a greater number of poses per 75 min. class.

Yoga Practice

Yoga for Athletes – a counter balance for overworked muscles in athletic training, meditation for sports performance, core development, coordination and complimentary strength for chosen sport. Flexibility equals speed and avoidance of athletic injury! 75 min. (Level 2+)

Extra Gentle Hatha Yoga – moving with our breath into basic restorative stretches, beginners first half level with extra TLC!!! 75 min. class.

Core and More- live stronger from the inside out! Let’s start with healthy lifestyle changes and focus on strengthening all of those stability muscles for a more solid base to your practice. Believe in yourself, feel good about yourself and love the belly you build!!!! ☺ This class is open to all levels but will be most appreciated by those who have some yoga or fitness background. We will also be addressing nutritional habits leading to greater wellness. 75 min class.

Combined Classes- flow classes are designed to put into practice what students have learned in skill series, or in their personal practice. They will be most meaningful if the student takes them in combination with a skill based class, or has some yoga background. This is a great opportunity to move right into those delicious asanas and pranyamas we have been learning along the way!

Drop In Classes:

  • Drop In $15
  • Drop In and Stay Discount!  *$10 of Drop In Fee will be credited towards any future class purchase.
  • 6 Class Pass $60

Skill Based Series Classes: $60
*Includes 6 weeks of one lesson a week, plus take home practice sequence and meditation. Room provided, students may repeat a same level class during the week, for no additional charge.
